Mr Smith Letterpress
We've had the pleasure these last couple of weeks in the London studio of Pearlfisher to have the fantastic Mr Smith and his Letterpress studio. Kelvyn (Mr Smith) has lifted his entire studio from south London to our gallery space to creating a sprawling and exciting atmosphere full of the smell of inks and our walls are covered in our 'creations'. Next week we'll be answering the brief of 'what is creativity?' and we'll share with you some of the results hot of the press (literally!).
To see the man in question in his usual guise.....

It also highlights some examples of modern paper books that go above and beyond to keep us engaged. Here are a couple of them but read more here...

Pattern People
If your ever in need of some print inspiration have a look at these guys. They are a print agency so they produce trend reports as well as prints but there is a small collection available for free as well as highlighting some great printers on their blog. They have even produced their own print books. Worth a look.
