we are loving the black and white contrasting with the full on colour in these shots. photography by michael thompson, styling and set design by tom bell.
beautiful interior shots from photographer ngoc minh ngo. we think some of the shots are of stylist and set designer robyn glaser's home who is probably the best set & prop designer in the world ever!!!!.
tomas uses traditional decorative techniques for crystal and glass and applies it onto industrial packaging like milk bottles and jars. the result is very lovely indeed. www.tomaskral.ch
nice images on this site. there is no info on the site though so we can't tell you anything about it other than just to take a look. www.formsandshapes.com
Lizzie's beautiful hand screen printed wallpaper has been commissioned by paul smith and retrouvius amongst others. She uses a traditional printing method to create these beauties, giving them her own unique influence of old Vs new. our favourite are the english city gents, another kind of rarity. lizzieallen.co.uk
we have long seen this typography and thought corr, who did that? it's very lovely- and from today we know, Daren Newman. See more of his work on the neatly named www.meandmypen.com
we like a hoodie here at wmu. we could do with a few at the mo as it's more than a little chilly at pf towers and none we've seen are nicer than these by the house of bendie. they take classic suiting material and make it, erm, a bit more casual. nearly as good as the name itself. our only further wish would be for stripes please. www.houseofbendie.com
not about what is newest but what is nice, we started wmu to keep all our inspiring finds in one place for our fellow creatives. We came together at pearlfisher, a design agency in london and new york and a place where good looking stuff is always welcome.
if you have anything that you feel should be on this blog and we like it, we will put it on. email either bella@pearlfisher.com or sophie.m@pearlfisher.com with your thoughts, likes and loves.
