norman rockwell was one of america’s foremost illustrators. producing 323 witty covers for the saturday evening post over nearly 50 years. alongside adverts, other magazines and books rockwell captured the everyday life of american culture. now there is an exhibition of his work at the dulwich picture gallery. they have even gone to the pains of displaying everyone of the 323 covers from the saturday evening post. worth a look.
