to feed our culture cup a coupe of us had a day trip to paris over the weekend. after raving about it in the studio for months on end we have finally been to visit merci. the concept store founded by marie france and bernard cohen is a charitable endeavour with profits being donated to a fund, which has a mission to help disadvantaged children.
the loft/warehouse space offers carefully edited environmentally friendly and contemporary design pieces ranging from furniture, cutlery, lighting, stationary, jewellery, towelling, textiles, perfumes, shoes and clothing. they stock a.p.c., paul & joe sister, stella mccartney, marni, izabel marant and more. with a coffee shop and deli at the front of the shop you can while away hours browsing the second hand books that line the walls or get a slice of french flan in the basement café and look out at the leafy couryard.
