kings 1965

the victorian etchings are seeing a bit of a re-visitation as seen in the earlier featured moomah identity. here’s another we rather like in the guise of grooming range kings. ‘championing classic british style with a contemporary twist’. made for hair, body and face ‘(kings) reflects a timeless english panache coupled with he desire to do things differently, whilst retaining a focus on quality and elegance.’

lipton millionaire

sometimes the ins and outs of developing brand identity and principles can become repetitively standardised across the industry. we like to try and keep things fresh so when our New york studio sent us a link to this liptons idea we thought we’d share it.

d’espresso nyc

of all the coffee shops that open up in nyc, d’espresso has garnered more than the average attention. on madison avenue (at 42nd) the site was developed by nemaworkshop, a team of designers and architects that has created numerous cool retail and hospitality environments. apparently the next one will be completely upside down!

write a bike

we adore this concept typography design. at pf we have a bit of a fetish for bikes so when we read that the designer of this type, juri zaech, is trying to develop a real prototype we got very excited.

morton & peplow

morton & peplow is a munich delicatessen that specialises in british cuisine.

‘our identity combines two icons of britishness - the bowler hat and the domed silver service platter - to create a mark that evokes a sense of heritage and style. a candy colour palette and classic typography serve to continue this quintessentially british feel, tipping its hat to a lost era of elegant simplicity.’

she died of beauty

another fashion week pop up (although it’s no longer london fashion week) is a small venture by model erin o’connor and stylist kate halfpenny. with a concise collection of 5 beautiful typographic t-shirts and 2 bags the mini-collection pokes gentle fun at the industry that made then and we adore the t-shirts. we also like the website from a graphic point of view; clean, simple and humourous.

‘a teasing and yet affective tickle at the fashion industry we continue to honour, love and serve!... within the political & potent world of fashion, providing a signature style, which is witty, purposeful and un-apologetic.’
