we're not easily pleased here at wmu and we have an attention span shorter than an autumn day but boudicca, the london based design duo have made our contrary week by launching a paint and scent as their first perfume. known for their dramatic victoriana influenced tailoring we're fascinated in the new theatre created by wode. the blue spray is inspired by woad, the blue dye their namesake queen boudicca and her warriors marked themselves with before battle, though their incarnation disappears minutes after spraying to leave a powerful scent that includes notes of juniper berry, cardomon, nutmeg and amber. numbers of the ravishing silver spray can are limited to 4,000 for the first run. www.boudiccawode.com
not about what is newest but what is nice, we started wmu to keep all our inspiring finds in one place for our fellow creatives. We came together at pearlfisher, a design agency in london and new york and a place where good looking stuff is always welcome.
